Introducing our newest apps: EasyRoutes Delivery Driver for iOS and Android. Open shared routes in our app for a totally redesigned mobile delivery experience. We will be continuously adding functionality to these apps to make deliveries for your drivers as easy as possible.
We've introduced the concept of route groups to help make your delivery planning easier. Now when you split routes...
...you will be taken to a group view where you can see all the routes created on one screen. You can also create a group with routes that you planned individually.
From here you can re-arrange stops between routes...
...and add or remove routes.
You can also schedule the entire group at once, as well as reoptimize all the routes in the group.
We've added Route ID numbers to make it easier to organize and refer back to routes.
Tracking pages have been updated to include a button where customers can view their Order Status, and a link back to your store for order support is now included in the footer.
We've redesigned our settings to make the sections and options clearer and easier to understand. We've also included some quick links to our new videos to show you how to use our app.
New users to EasyRoutes will now be greeted with a product tour that takes them through the process of creating a route, step-by-step.
You can also customize your packing slips to select which information you would like to see printed.
Now when you generate multiple routes using our Route Splitting route option...
You will land on a page showing all the routes in the group on one map, as well as relevant stats for each route.
You can cycle through all the routes using the navigation in the top-right, or click the View All Routes button to return back to multi-route view:
More functionality will be coming to help you with planning multiple routes soon!
Now your driver can capture e-signatures as proof of delivery for peace of mind. They can also attach photos and a delivery note.
We've refactored our Driver View making it even easier to use on mobile devices. We've re-positioned informational elements and added more buttons to access common actions easier with a tap of the finger.
Make the maps bigger on your Orders Page or on any of the routes you view by clicking the Enlarge Maps icon.
Click the icon again to shrink it back to its regular size.
We've made it easier for you to navigate to your next stop in our driver view as well!
When you or your driver marks an order as delivered, EasyRoutes will auto-advance you to the next stop after 5 seconds.
Customize your packing slips with new options found in your Settings. You can choose where to display your store logo, as well as select various types of information to print on your packing slips.
We're always working hard to not only add new features, but to also make sure that EasyRoutes is always running smoothly. As such we've made lots of little tweaks here and there to boost the efficiency of our routing engine. Let us know if you notice a difference! Some notable updates include:
- Better Support for Poor Connectivity
- Improvements to our ETA calculations in our routing engine
- Update Order Data no longer requires refreshing EasyRoutes
- Copy to clipboard functionality for route and stop information in Route History
- Show Total Item Count in a route
- Filter by Delivery Status
- Many other bug fixes and stability improvements
Provide your customers with a customer tracking number in their email with a link to view the delivery status of their orders. You can turn this option on and off in your Settings.
You also have the option to include your scheduled delivery time and ETAs, or just show the delivery status. You can also use a rounded delivery time window and you can show how many stops away a customer is.
To view a tracking link, click the “Customer Tracking Link” option in the Actions menu for any order in a route you have created.
We’ve redesigned our Share/Deliver modal and introduced a “ Create Fulfillment” step.
Shopify requires orders to be fulfilled before we can update order statuses and send out customer delivery emails. Fulfilling your orders means they are ready to be delivered.
Instead of two buttons at the top of your Edit Route screen, you’ll now see just one:
Click on the Share Route tab to send this route to a driver, or click the Deliver Myself tab to do your own deliveries. You or your driver can still fulfill orders on a stop-by-stop basis.
You can also toggle in your settings whether a Shipping Confirmation email is sent when you create your fulfillment.
Speaking of fulfillment…
When creating a route with a partially fulfilled order, EasyRoutes will select the remaining unfulfilled items by default and have that reflected in stop inventory, packing lists, tracking pages, etc.
On the Orders Page, when you click to view the list of items for an order, you will see it divided into unfulfilled and fulfilled items:
When editing a route, you can change between unfulfilled items and a preexisting fulfillment:
We’ve added a couple new columns to your route history page – Total Distance and Total Drive Time:
You can now also filter your routes by a range of last modified dates, or a range of planned route dates. You can now also copy this information for selected routes to your clipboard for export and reporting use:
Now you can add a display address to a stop for your drivers to see in Driver Mode. When you edit an address, check the “Choose a different address to display on route” box.
This can be helpful for adding address details (e.g. unit number) for display only, or when you cannot validate extra address fields with Google Maps, or if you want to provide only a unique identifier (e.g. Postal Code, Plus Code, etc.) for validation in the address fields.
You can now select stops and edit all of their stop times at once in Edit mode:
We’re always working hard to not only add new features, but to also make sure that EasyRoutes is always running smoothly. As such we’ve made lots of little tweaks here and there to boost the efficiency of our routing engine. Let us know if you notice a difference! Some notable updates include:
– Better support for importing .CSVs with addresses in multiple columns
– Showing order count, order date, shipping cost, customer note in your orders and routes
– Improvements to make it easier to edit rejected stops
– Improvements to our routing engine ETAs in select countries
– Fixed some network issues / errors
– Fixed some Google Maps errors
– Fixed some display and layout issues with order information on routes with certain settings
– Fixed bug when deleting a stop using drop-down menu
– Added settings to remove store address from packing slips
– Added option to add a page break between route and inventory when printing
– Boosted the speed of our image uploads when capturing photo proof of delivery
Do you need to deliver orders that you tracking on a spreadsheet? Use our new Import Orders feature to import your .CSV into EasyRoutes. To do so, just click the "Import Orders from CSV" button on the Select Orders page.
We've added a map to the Select Orders page to better help with visual planning. Now when you select orders and add them to the staging area, you can preview the points on a map. See an outlier you want to remove? Just click on the map pin to remove it from the selection.
Now you can print off packing slips to include with your delivery orders! To do so, click on the print icon after generating a route and check the "Include Packing Slips" option.
We now show a better status and updated ETAs for each stop when your orders are delivered or out for delivery.
You can now filter for multiple zip codes, and use wildcards for finding specific orders. Find this under "More Filters" on the Order Selection page.
Your driver can now add a delivery note to be attached to the order through our "Proof of Delivery" feature in Driver View.
We're always working hard to not only add new features, but to also make sure that EasyRoutes is always running smoothly. As such we've made lots of little tweaks here and there to boost the efficiency of our routing engine. Let us know if you notice a difference!
We've made a big update to our route history page — we've added the ability to search your routes as well as sort and filter them. We've also added a column showing when the route was started, and columns showing how the deliveries went.
On the Select Orders screen you can apply filters to find the orders you want to route. Now you can save those custom filters as tabs to quickly access in the future instead of having to reapply filters.
To do so, just apply your filters and click the "Save View" button. More info here.
When editing a route, you can select stops and click the "Send to Another Route" button to add these orders to another route. Now you can create a brand new route using that selection of orders.
In your settings you can now toggle a column to see the delivery status of your orders on the Select Orders page.
We've produced a few videos highlighting how to use some of EasyRoutes' features and functionality. Please check them out as there may be some valuable information to help boost your delivery productivity!
We're always working hard to not only add new features, but to also make sure that EasyRoutes is always running snappily. One of the big under-the-hood improvements we made is we've boosted our geolocation to make it much faster. You should notice the speed difference when generating longer routes.
We've made a couple helpful tweaks to our mobile-friendly driver view:
We've improved the quality of the data that our routing algorithm uses, resulting in even more precise ETAs. Between each stop, ETA accuracy could improve by about 2 to 3 minutes, depending on the country in which you are doing your deliveries. This means you can deliver on time more consistently and keep your customers better informed.
Recently we added support for getting driving directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze. Now we've made it so your driver can pick their preferred app for the route, so the next time they click the "Directions" button they don't have to select the app again.
We've improved our tag filtering experience. Now when you click the "More Filters" you can add all the tags you need and preview them inside the pane. You can use these tags to include or exclude orders from your search.
When routes are shared, the shared link is accessible for 48 hours by default. Now we've included the option to edit this setting for those users who plan and share routes in advance. Select whether the link expires in 24, 48, 72 hours, or 1 week.
When a route is shared, you now have the option to print the QR code to the route link.
We're always working hard to not only add new features, but to also make sure that EasyRoutes is always running snappily. One of the big under-the-hood improvements we made is we now have pagination for load lists of orders. This makes page load times much faster, and you are still able to search, filter and select the orders you need.
After you create a route, you can use our new route scheduling feature to select the date and time your driver should leave. Once a date/time is selected, the stop list will update with Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) for each stop. Drivers can see this ETA for each stop in their driver view:
Not only that, we’ve also improved our route time calculations and have applied these recalculations to all of your existing routes, including your edited ones! Let us know how this helps improve your fine-grain route planning!
We’ve added route lines to your delivery map! Now you can visualize the route between stops.
We rejigged our route page header. Now you can rename, schedule and navigate multiple generated routes in one row.
For those running COD deliveries, we’ve added a Total Price breakdown of payment statuses beneath your list of stops.
To help with more complex delivery workflows we've added the ability to attach up to four photos as proof of delivery to a customer's order. Your drivers can also attach an optional note. The links to these images will be attached to your order in Shopify, and you can even include them in your customer confirmation emails. Multi-photo Proof of Delivery is now available on our Growth plans.
We've improved our Route Options at the top or your Select Orders page. Now you can quickly switch start and end locations using a drop-down selector.
Click the "Show More" link in your Route Options to see additional settings:
Now when you or your driver marks as an order as delivered, they'll see a little progress modal showing how they are doing on their route and a button to quickly move on to the next stop.
We've introduced two new Fleet-level plans to support our growing enterprise-level customers.
Continuous improvements behinds the scenes at EasyRoutes! And hopefully some things you never have to see, like our new error pages.
We've launched an improved experience for setting or updating your start and end location for planning your next route:
This week we are being featured in the Shopify App Store as a Staff Pick! Thank you so much for all your support and feedback along the way. We're excited to keep making EasyRoutes better for you and to help you spend less time managing your own deliveries.
We've just launched more advanced routing options! You can now provide a maximum route duration and a maximum number of stops per route which will help you with better load balancing your routes. Here's the route options so far (more coming soon!):
We've improved our route history page to give you more information at a glance. Now you can see which routes have been completed, are still in flight, and how many deliveries were successful or attempted.
Doing your own deliveries? We've now streamlined it so you can access Driver View with a single-click.
Driver view presents a mobile-friendly stop-by-stop view of your deliveries, with all the buttons you need (like marking the order as delivered, or taking photo proof of delivery) placed right at your finger-tips.
We've added a drop-down to the Edit Start/End Locations screen to make it easier to switch between your multiple locations.
We've updated our customer pop-ups to not just show the who to deliver the order to, but also the information of who the actual customer is. You can also add this contact information (name, company, phone) to any manual stops you create.
Apart from performance updates, we fixed an issue where some users weren't able to use the "Mark as Delivered" and "Attempted Delivery" confirmation dialogs on certain browsers. Some users on older phones also reported that our Help Beacon was getting in the way, so now you can turn it off in your settings.
We have fixed an issue with our cloud hosting provider that caused intermittent performance issues and delayed response times in short durations when accessing EasyRoutes for some users and we are continuing to monitor this issue.
Also if you haven't checked out our Photo Proof of Delivery feature, check out this support article on how to get started!
Provide peace of mind with proof of delivery. You or your drivers can attach a photo as well as optional note when dropping off a delivery. The link to this image will be attached to your order in Shopify, and you can even include it in your customer confirmation emails.
We're taking off the winter coat to reveal our new spring look with an updated colour palette, icons and updates under the hood. Now EasyRoutes fits in with Shopify's backend even more seamlessly.
We've introduced some new pricing plans to help our growing customers level up in smaller increments while gaining new features and functionality. Take our Pro+ plan ($49.99/mo), for example: It gives you all the power or our popular Pro plan (29.99/month) as well as the advanced features of our Growth plans like 📷 photo proof of delivery.
Now you can take a selection of stops you have in one route and send them directly to another!
In Driver View, you can now open up the next stop in your navigation app of choice: Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps (MacOS/iOS only). Just click the “Get Directions” button!
You can now specify how much time to spend at each delivery stop. You can specify default a stop time for the entire route, or customize individual stops by clicking the “Edit” button on your route page and clicking the pencil icon next to the stop you would like to edit.
Need to add some instructions for your delivery driver? Add a note to your stop!
Click the “Edit” button above your list of stops, and click the pencil icon next to the stop your would like to add a note to.
We’ve heard from some users that they would like an easy way to get their route information into a spreadsheet. Now you can just copy and paste!
Click the “Copy” button above your list of stops on your route page, and it will paste all your information neatly into your spreadsheet application of choice (e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
Now you can filter your orders by excludingorders with certain tags. When creating a route, click the “More Filters” button on your orders page and look under “Tag Options”.
Thank you for all the great feedback regarding our mobile-friendly Driver View! We have made a number of improvements to help a variety of workflows. Please keep the feedback coming.
Now you can enter Driver View at any time without having to fulfill your orders and mark them as Out for Delivery first.
If you want to wait to mark orders as Out for Delivery on a stop-by-stop basis, you can now do that under the 'More options' button in Driver View.
Does your workflow rely on Order Attributes and Tags? Now you can display them on your route page and in Driver View as well.
Track the status of your route! The map pins change colour to reflect whether a stop was delivered or if there was a missed delivery.
To help make your packing more efficient, we've added the number of items per order to the route inventory table.
View refunded and cancelled items within EasyRoutes.
We’re excited to let you know we’ve made some changes to our plans, and EasyRoutes Pro is getting way better! 🎉

Are you just starting out? Doing your own deliveries? EasyRoutes Solo is the right plan for you. It allows you to select your orders, create routes and edit them. And when you’re ready you can head out on the road with our new mobile-friendly driver view and mark your orders as delivered while on the road!
EasyRoutes is growing, and we want you to grow with us.
These plans will help us better support customers like you.
We’ve made a ton of new updates! We’ve got loads of new features and functionality to help make your deliveries smoother. And another big update is just around the corner!
Check out our new mobile-friendly Delivery View which makes EasyRoutes much more usable while on the road! Delivery View removes any awkward horizontal scrolling. It displays one stop at a time and is designed to put a number of common controls right at your driver’s fingertips: they can open the stop in their navigation app, call or text a customer at the tap of a button, and see the contents of the order they are dropping off. Drivers can also mark the order as delivered, or mark the order as a missed delivery. Just click the Deliver Route button at the top of your routes page to check it out yourself!
Links to routes shared with your drivers also go to Delivery View.
Customize your route page! Now you can show or hide tags, prices, weights, and order items in your route inventory. You can also toggle whether you want to see a list of items in each order or just the number of items.
We’ve added more settings to help you control your experience within EasyRoutes. Now you can pick your standards and formats (metric/imperial), and you can check the option to always show a list of items on your route page, as oppose to mousing over the number of items to see the list. You can show/hide columns on your routes page (tags, price, weight). and you can now have more fine-grain control over your “Out for Delivery” notifications.
See how long and how far until your next stop! We’ve added drive distance as well as drive time.
Have you updated your Order Notes? Now you can refresh all your data on routes you’ve already created by clicking the “Update order Data” button.
We’ve improved the way you can filter your orders using tags, so now you can combine tags for even more fine-grain control over your orders. You can also now see tags on both your orders page and on your routes. And if that wasn’t enough tag stuff, you can also include order tags on your print-outs.
Now you can include Order Tags and Payment Status on your next print-out. You can also hide prices and weights on your Settings pages.
Default filters now include Partially Fulfilled, you can filter for orders using Supertime data, and we’ve also updated our new-user experience. And of course, lots of other small bug fixes and improvements too tiny to mention.
On shared routes, we've added a "Start Delivery Route" button your driver can click before heading out on their route. This will send your customers an email notification letting them know their orders are out for delivery. When the order has been delivered, they can click the Mark as Delivered button next to the stop and an email will be sent to the customer letting them know their order has arrived!
We realize the Orders page table can get quite long (lots of horizontal scrolling) and not everybody needs to see the same information. So, we've added a Settings tab where you can customize which columns you would like to see in EasyRoutes.
Now you can edit your start and end locations within a route, rather than having to generate a whole new one.
Save paper by printing only the information you need.
Product SKUs are now visible in the inventory tables at the bottom of your generated routes.
Now you can add orders to routes you have previously created. Just select the orders you wish to add on your EasyRoutes Orders page and click the "Add to Existing Route" button!
Click the pencil icon next to the title of your route to quickly give it a new name!
When orders are marked as delivered, your customers will automatically be sent an email letting them know.
We've added the order numbers to the items in the Inventory to better help with packing.
We've added order weight information to better help those with vehicle capacity issues.
