EasyRoutes Product Updates - November 2024 πŸ“¦

Since our last monthly update, we've been busy making EasyRoutes better than ever to support all of your delivery needs this holiday season. Here's a few of the highlights from November.

Your all-in-one local delivery app for Shopify

⭐️ New Feature: Delivery Ratings

We've added a new optional card to order tracking pages, allowing customers to submit a star rating and comment after their delivery has been completed. Β Star ratings and customer comments can each be enabled independently for delivery, pickup, and/or task stop types from your EasyRoutes Settings > Order tracking tab, within the Delivery ratings section:

Once enabled, customer ratings and comments for recently rated stops will display as an independent card on your EasyRoutes Dashboard for review:

Received ratings and comments are also displayed in the Tracking tab of any live or completed routes, and can optionally be included as a dedicated column on Route pages by enabling the Delivery rating checkbox from your EasyRoutes Settings > General tab, within the Route page options section:

βœ… Improvements to Driver Tasks

We've added the ability to save sets of Driver Tasks, making it easier to apply frequently used tasks on future routes. Saved sets of tasks can be quickly re-applied as stop tasks, start location tasks, or end location tasks interchangeably from your Route Options page:

We've also added a new order automation rule outcome that automatically applies Driver Tasks to stops matching particular conditions. Route planners can customize which order attribute, order/customer tag, or delivery method to automate from, and choose whether to create a new task when configuring this rule, or select a saved set of Driver Tasks to apply using the Saved tasks button instead:

Enable and configure order automation rules from your EasyRoutes Settings > General tab, within the Advanced automation section shown above.

πŸ“¦ Orders & Route Page Attributes

We've made it easier to visualize and work with orders containing attributes used to indicate key delivery details and EasyRoutes proof of delivery. Β Frequently accessed order attributes can now be "pinned" to the Orders page in a dedicated and sortable column, providing at-a-glance access to the values of selected attributes for applicable orders:

Enable individual attribute columns using the Show/hide attribute columns toggle shown above - all attributes present within the orders table below will be automatically available to select.

For Route pages, order attributes can now also be displayed as tags, in addition to existing support for dropdown display. Β When enabled, all available order attribute keys and values will display in full on Route pages:

Modify Route page attribute display behaviour from your EasyRoutes Settings > General tab, within the Route page options section. Β The Attributes checkbox must be selected in order to toggle between tag and dropdown display as shown above.

πŸ“± EasyRoutes Delivery Driver v1.0.59

The EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app for both iOS and Android devices has been updated to version 1.0.59. Β This release features improved support for driver registration and device verification via SMS, as well as minor changes to display fonts in certain sections of the app, and various minor bug fixes.

We recommend that drivers update to the latest version of the mobile app (version 1.0.59) for the most seamless experience when completing delivery routes.

  • New Country filter on the Orders page, making it easier to pinpoint specific orders for merchants who deliver across multiple national regions.
  • EasyRoutes now issues a push notification to drivers whenever a fulfillment event changes the items on any order contained in a dispatched and started route.
  • Bulk order actions are now supported for imported and saved stops, in addition to existing support for Shopify-native orders.
  • Stop types (delivery, pickup, or task) can now be applied to imported and saved custom stops.
  • Scheduled delivery ETAs can now be included on order tracking pages for stops marked with a Preparing status.
  • Route inventory tabs now support sorting items by stop order, in addition to default behaviour sorting by order name.
