We understand that sometimes there is nothing better than old school ink and paper to get the job done. Printable delivery routes can be very useful for a number of different reasons and having a physical route may be an important part of your delivery workflow. The EasyRoutes Local Delivery Route Planner has gone the extra mile to make sure all your delivery route printing needs are covered.
We are committed to the environment and wanted to reduce the amount of paper being used for printing, so we set out to create the ultimate à la carte printing experience. This enables you to only print what you need. EasyRoutes lets you not only print out your map and stop list, but you can also include things like order items, order tags, or even print out a packing list for your route!
There are many reasons why a printable delivery route can be useful.
No batteries needed!
For example, paper delivery routes do not require any batteries! We’ve all been there when a device you need to work dies because someone forgot to charge it. If your driver is out on the road with a device that fails, having a paper backup is always a good option. Also a car charger for that device would probably be good too.
You can write on paper!
Paper delivery routes makes it much easier to quickly jot down a note, or tick off a stop on your way. If you print off your route inventory as a packing list you can check those items off too as you prepare for head out. You can even plot out a new route on a paper map if you need to. And for many people, just the physical act of writing does something different to the brain than working digitally.
EasyRoutes makes it easy to print your delivery routes. After you have created a delivery route, click on the Print button located at the top of your stop list:
When you click on it you will see a menu where with a list of items to include in your printed delivery route. You can include all the information you need, and exclude the items you don’t:
Route Map:
Print the same map you see when you generate your route. By default this map is zoomed to the right level to see all your stops.
List of Stops:
Include the list of stops your driver will be visiting when out performing their deliveries.
Items:
If it is useful, you can include a list of all the items included in each order. You can also opt to enable Notes, Order tags, Order attributes, Payment status, and/or Customer email in the same manner.
Inventory:
You can include a summary inventory of all the items that need to be included in the route. This inventory can be used as a packing list to make sure your driver has everything before setting out to make their deliveries.
Order Tags:
If you are using Shopify’s Order Tags in a way that it is important for your driver to see them, you can include these on your printed delivery route as well!
EasyRoutes lets you create delivery routes right from your Shopify orders. Select the orders you want, click the button, and out pops an optimized delivery route you can share with your driver…digitally, or by printing!
